Asus has officially unveiled the NUC 14 Pro AI, the first Copilot Plus-compatible AI mini PC, which houses an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor in a compact design similar to a black M4 Mac Mini. First introduced at IFA in September, Asus has now shared more details about the mini PC’s specifications, although it still hasn’t revealed the availability date or pricing.
The NUC 14 Pro AI will offer five CPU configurations, ranging from the Core Ultra 5 226V with 16GB of integrated RAM to the Core Ultra 9 288V with 32GB of RAM. The device boasts up to 67 TOPS of GPU performance and 48 NPU TOPS, with an M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4 x 4 slot supporting NVMe SSDs ranging from 256GB to 2TB.
The mini PC’s dimensions are 130mm deep and wide, and just 34mm tall, making it slightly more compact than the Mac Mini, which measures 127mm deep and wide and 50mm tall. The NUC 14 Pro AI features a fingerprint sensor on top, a Copilot button on the front for voice commands to Microsoft’s AI assistant, and multiple ports, including two USB-A, a Thunderbolt 4, a headphone jack, and a power button. The back includes a 2.5Gbps Ethernet jack, another Thunderbolt 4 port, two more USB-A ports, and an HDMI port. For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Asus has not yet disclosed the release date or price of the NUC 14 Pro AI.
