Apple Set to Launch a New Product on February 19

Apple CEO Tim Cook has revealed that the company will unveil a new product on Wednesday, February 19. In a post on X, he teased the announcement with the message, “Get ready to meet the newest member of the family,” along with a metallic Apple logo. Industry experts believe this event will introduce the next generation of the SE lineup – the iPhone SE 4, which hasn’t seen an update since 2022.

The iPhone SE series is known for offering a more affordable alternative to Apple’s flagship models. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to maintain this tradition while incorporating modern features and design changes. Rumors suggest that the new model will be the most significant redesign of the SE series, replacing the classic home button with Face ID and a notch.

It is likely to be powered by the A18 chip with 8GB RAM, making it an AI-compatible budget-friendly option, particularly for Apple Intelligence. The phone may also include a 48MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera. Additionally, this could be the first device to feature Apple’s in-house cellular modem.

While the iPhone SE 4 is expected to be priced slightly higher than the current model at $429, Apple may also launch other products, including a new MacBook Air with the M4 chip, featuring 16GB of RAM as standard. Although the new MacBook Air is anticipated to have improved specs, design changes are unlikely.

This announcement comes as Apple partners with Alibaba to bring AI features to iPhones in China, a move aimed at boosting its competitive edge against local players like Huawei.
