Playstation Plus:
This month, PlayStation Plus subscribers can access a mixed bag of titles, including two remastered classics and a recent live-service misfire. Sony has unveiled the first batch of PlayStation Plus games for 2025, available to all tiers of subscribers. The lineup includes Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe.
Created by the original developers Davey Wreden and William Pugh, the Ultra Deluxe edition expands on the original game, adding more choices, dialogue, and pathways for players.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, another re-release, originally debuted in 2010 and was updated for PS4 in 2020. The remastered version features full career modes for both racers and cops, multiplayer modes, and all the DLC from the original game.
Lastly, the newest addition to the list is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a live-service game that faced multiple delays and was met with mostly negative reviews. Despite reportedly costing Warner Bros. $200 million, it’s already had its current season of content announced as the final one, although there are no immediate plans to shut the game down. Released just this past February, it has a short shelf life, but at least you can try it out for free instead of paying the full $70.
These games will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers starting January 7, and you have until then to add December’s games to your library.
