However, some users might find music on posts distracting, highlighting potential mixed reactions if the feature is rolled out.
As with any prototype, there’s no confirmed timeline or guarantee that this feature will launch. Meta appears to be strategically enhancing Threads to compete with platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Bluesky. Also recently reported that Threads is internally testing other updates, including the ability to set a display name and add a cover image to profiles. These additions aim to align Threads more closely with its competitors while improving user experience.
